General information on Fillmore's ATV
Jamboree
ATV events for our Jamboree take place in or around
the Pahvant Mountain Range east of Fillmore or on the
West Desert. There are hundreds of miles to ride, you
can't do it all even in the six days of the Jamboree.
Fillmore's elevation is 5186 feet. Some of the rides
will take you to just a little over 9500 feet in
elevation. If you are picky about the jetting on your
machine, you may need some adjustments. We have found
that the finely tuned two strokes run only slightly
lean. Spark arresters are required for all ATV's riding
the Fish Lake National Forrest to prevent fires. Helmets
are mandatory for ages 8 to 18 and strongly advised for
all riders. If your state does not require registration,
you will be welcomed under a fourteen-day visitor's
reciprocation law, no need to license. Operators must be
at least 8 years of age, but must be accompanied by an
adult 18 years or older.
Please make your motel / ATV reservation early.
Fillmore rolls out the red carpet for ATV riders, but
please stay on the outer four feet of the designated ATV
roads. Please do not use Fillmore's Main Street for
travel. Only use main street to cross or gain access for
gas and food. Please observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Our
local Sheriff's Office is on call 24/7 to assist you
with any emergency that you may have. The Jamboree works
best when our local laws are followed.
Weather is generally about 90 in the day and 70 in
the evenings. Can be much cooler in the mountains. Light
rain gear is recommended for an emergency. Your
registration will include: six days of guided rides,
breakfast at the POD, Jamboree tee-shirt, and welcome
packet. We will send you a confirmation when we receive
your registration. There are two ATV dealers in Fillmore
and mechanics for needed services.
Many of our events are group events, like the poker
ride on Friday and select group rides. Saturday we have
the kids' rodeo at the Fairgrounds. The Old Capitol Car
Club hosts a car show in the city park on Saturday. . We
rap it all up with an ATV parade down Main Street to the
Fairgrounds where the local Search and Rescue unit
sponsor an ATV Rodeo. Our commitment to you as a
participant of our jamboree is to create an exciting
event that is unique and welcoming. If you have further
questions on this event prior to registering please call
us at: (435) 405-1556 Jane or (435) 759-2543 Nola or
toll free at 1-800-441-4ATV
Sincerely,
Jane Rasmussen and Nola Whatcott
